Drawing on years of experience in wildlife tourism, hospitality, photography, and outdoor travel, we create wildlife experiences across Sri Lanka for travellers who want to see more of the island's natural side.
Our tours are built around what we know from living, working and travelling here. Anuradha grew up in Sri Lanka, while Raphi has called the island home for more than 14 years. That experience shapes where we go, when we go, how much time a place deserves, and what works in practice. Some trips focus on Sri Lanka's best-known wildlife, while others are designed around specific interests such as birding, photography, endemic species, or particular habitats.
Wild Outside grew from our different backgrounds and a shared interest in exploring Sri Lanka beyond the usual routes. Anuradha brings years of experience from wildlife tourism and the field, while Raphi brings a background in hospitality and outdoor travel. Together, we wanted to build the kind of wildlife travel company we would choose ourselves: knowledgeable, straightforward, flexible, and genuinely connected to the places and people involved.
