Sri Lanka’s coastal waters are home to blue whales, sperm whales, dolphins and other marine mammals. This seven-day journey explores the waters off Kalpitiya and Trincomalee on guided boat excursions in search of these animals in their natural habitat. The itinerary also includes an excursion targeting Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins and dugongs around Kalpitiya, snorkelling at Pigeon Island National Park and visits to Trincomalee’s historic sites.
